Chase away the chill with the lightweight, collapsible, and windproof Original Candle Lantern. This trusted, time-tested lantern fights dampness and brightens up camp or the backyard. Ideal for backpacking, mountaineering, snow camping and other outdoor pursuits, this classic lantern provides cozy heat and natural light for up to 9 hours (per candle). Surrounded by a sturdy metal frame and a glass chimney, the candle is lit in a flash—slide the chimney down and light the exposed wick. As the candle burns, the spring-powered tube pushes the candle up for a reliable, constant flame. Monitor the candle for remaining burn time through the viewing slot on the side of the lantern.
To prevent fire, keep burning candle within sight. Never burn a candle on or near anything that can catch fire. Keep out of reach of children and pets.

Hammockers Best Friend
I took my 8yr old daughter hammock camping for the first time during lockdown 2020 and once Mum went home it was just me and her in the woods! Everything was fine until it started to get I could then see my Daughters imagination kick in as with all kids, and it was at this point I produced my trusty Uco lantern! Which I lite just before bedtime hung in a tree and she was out like a battery light, 8+hours later we woke in the morning and it was still burning.

Brass makes sense
Brass makes sense for a candle lantern, ment for portability, because its study enough to absorb bumps that otherwise could break glass. It also holds heat longer than harder metals/alloys, making it a fantastic medium between comfortable people and fire. The color reflected off brass from a candle is beautiful imo. UCO did us a solid with this lantern.
