I found this little gem in some of my parents old camping gear and took it along for my first camp out with my own kids. Its a warm little light. Its brighter than you might expect. It is light weight and unexpectedly resistant to the winds that we had on the Pacific coast. Theres a million other light sources that you can take along but Ive never used one as charming or mood setting. As the campfire burns down it provides sufficient light for evening preparations that usually require devices with heavy batteries. It is a housed candle flame thats well protected from wind, it burns brightly and consistently.
Have owned for 10 years. Works forever amazing construction and design.
Good design but shame it is made in China
One would expect this little but not cheap aluminium lantern would be American made for it’s price tag and heritage/nostalgia marketing. Quite disappointed knowing it is made in China.
I have owned my candle for many years and I love it. I would recommend this to anyone who camps
