Nice to have
Used it in our living room during a 8 hour power outage this year. It does produce some heat and was a nice addition to our dark cold room.

Bottom falls off
The candles work good. The bottom will not stay attached. If I pick it up the bottom falls out.

Candlelier Lantern Works Great.....as promised
Ive had mine for 6-8 years or perhaps more. Have used it for everything from camping (trailer camping) to house lites during a power outage. Dependable product. Im buying a second one today, Cheers!

Fantastic product
I purchased this as back up light for emergencies and as a light for camping. The light is fantastic it lit the whole campsite every night with ease. Being able to have 1, 2, 3 candles burning allowed for great mood lighting. The 9 hour burn time is fantastic too. I recommend this product to anyone.

Worked beautifully for 1-2 hours...
The trouble was that the springs do not do any pushing up of the candles, which seemed to glue themselves to the insides of their metal holders as the unit warms and softens the wax. I cannot now -- even after removing the springs and metal disks at bottom -- get the beeswax from the original three candles to move up or down. The candles, now burned 1/2 or 3/4 inch down into the metal sleeves, cast almost no light, and gutter and go out within minutes. Will have to dig the beeswax candles out with a knife. But then, if the unit does not work as advertised, why bother?
