The convenient, shock cord clip on the Leschi enables you to hang and focus the lantern from both horizontal and vertical surfaces. The Leschi’s hybrid design telescopes into a frosted lantern for diffused light or collapses into a powerful, compact flashlight for more focused lighting. The versatile Leschi can also be operated as an emergency strobe.

Impressed
I have not had the Leschi flashlight-lantern long but I am impressed with its brightness, features, compact design, durability clean lines and high output-low power consumption from one AA battery. Received it as a Christmas gift.

Great idea, poor performance
Like this little light but the electronics unfortunately are inconsistent causing flickering like a poor ground.

Nice but needs improvements
The option to have a small lantern or flashlight is Great unfortunately I had to rerun my first one since the switch and electronics are not robust. This question reliability in my book.

this light was a gift and I just loved it and now fro some reason it dos not work anymore I change a pattery still not working can you please help me?

Nice little flashlights
For the price point, these are a good purchase. We bought them as a lightweight option to hook to our bags while hiking, they are small, versatile, water resistant, and cute! Very easy to hook to many different items with a small attached bungee cord. Somehow the bungee cords on our lights broke, and UCO customer service was so awesome, shipping us new lights! Would recommend if you need a small flashlight for many uses.

Great backpacking tent light
Bought one of these and liked it so much, I bought two more to have in various places. As one reviewer stated, it cycles through the various stages but is not a problem to deal with. The fact that it can function as a flashlight or a small lantern is great. Small size is fantastic.

Disappointed
Purchased four (4) Leschi Lanterns from Target for my familys upcoming hiking trip. The first one I opened did not turn on. The second one I opened would not strobe. Did not open the remaining two, I will be returning all four. Very disappointed, I really wanted these mini flashlight/lanterns to work.

Nice idea, infuriating light operation
Nice multifunction flashlight/lantern. But the light does not start up on the same setting that was active when you turned it off. E.g. its on low, gets turned off, and when you turn it back on, its on high. The only way to get back to low is by cycling through the super-annoying strobe setting. If its on high when you turn it off, it will strobe when you next turn it on. The manual explains that this is how it works, but this is a terrible design -- violates the Principle of Least Surprise.

Best flashlight lantern
I originally bought this flashlight as a lightweight tent lantern to hang in my tent. I now own five of these because they are so handy! I have used them at party’s as a outdoor table light. I’ve used them to see to fix my car and my kids use them during power outages. They light up the whole room! I use them for camping as well. we played cards around one all night! This flashlight is also handy on hiking trips. Mine has been dropped a lot and it’s still going strong. all on just one aa battery at a time. That was the selling point for me. I can carry around a few spare aa and I know I will always have light when and where I need it.

Light bulb burned out quickly
Initially loved this light but after light use the bulb has burned out and there does not seem to be a way to replace this

Very effective & lightweight
I purchased this for a SUP camping trip because it’s smaller, lighter and brighter than other options - mainly used it on low power mode. It operated perfectly in excess of 10 hrs on a single Duracell quantum battery - specs online and package said 4 hrs burn time on low but I am not complaining. This is not an essential item in my travel light pack.

Great idea but the strobe light is dizzying...
Just got the Uco Leschi Flashlight. At the store was debating from a traditional flashlight and the Leschi one. Really regretting the getting this. The concept is good but the strobe light is so bright and dizzying. No sure how practical a strobe light is when all I need is a flashlight. Would be 5 stars if the button worked better or the strobe option is not so easily accessible. Ugh... really think the strobe is not practical. Not sure if they store will accept the return since the packaging requires tearing the packaging apart.

broken first time clapsing it to flash light
flashlight led isnt protected very well and the flash light tube when in the lantern is loose, so it moves around inside so when you collapse it to make it in a flashlight you highly risk breaking the led. Call Us at the number in our header of our website. We can replace your Lechi. - UCO
